About the Author​

Tom Wright is a native of Huntington Beach, California and joined the Navy on October 31st, 2006. He has been deployed all over the world and has been stationed in multiple states. Currently stationed in Jacksonville, Fl, he enjoys being an aircrew rescue swimmer and spending time with his family. He is a father to four wonderful boys, Hayden, Jacob, Liam, and Maverick, and knows what it’s like to miss birthdays, holidays, graduations, anniversaries, and everyday moments. Before retiring, he wanted to create something special for military families—especially the kids who have to say goodbye during deployments. His hope is to help comfort families and get them through the tough times while their loved ones are deployed—reminding them of just how deeply loved they are, even when a parent is far away.
